This game was created by a small team in a 48 hour game jam.
Initially starting as a brief concept of an undercooked style game, we chose an apothecary to break away from the inspired game.
Design was a group effort, although Yuuki provided detailed instructions and concepts for the team, providing evidence and playtesting to adjust certain variables and adding in different gameplay elements.
Programming was primarily the task for Daniel Fox, who spent most of his time creating the systems in place. Yuuki supported this effort with some systems, in-between his back systems.
The artwork was entirely created by Amanda Foster, creating different designs and colours to indicate different identifying characteristics between recipes & potions. Whilst still being similar enough that it may create difficulty for a new player.
Music and sound were all produced by Zach Jones, whom effortlessly created a fun tracks and sounds for every interaction in the game. Including noises caused by footsteps, background music and even bubbling of cauldrons. Whilst also managing the team, going between people and coordinating efforts.
